Save Weelaunee, a Weelaunee Coalition Press zine, illustrated by Violet, a 7 3/4 year old self proclaimed forest defender. A collaboration with their mother, Sasha, an organizer with the Weelaunee Coalition, living & loving on unceded Muscogee Creek land, known as Atlanta.

Curated by Dr. Ariana Brazier and Sasha Von Hanna, parents of the Weelaunee Coalition, this list features books that illustrate indigenous practices and reimagined worlds. We have broken the list into three categories: books that celebrate the wonders of nature as well as kinship with the land and more than human creatures, highlighting reciprocal relationships; books that honor changemakers, mutual aid efforts and culture of care; and books that center diverse histories by teaching about specific people as well as lived experiences that form our identities.
